Requirement #1 - Be an Eagle Scout

It's easy to be a member

Are you an Eagle Scout? Then you have completed the first requirement to join!

Since Arthur Rose Eldred became the first Eagle Scout in the summer of 1912, more than two and half million boys have followed in his footsteps along the Trail to Eagle. And when they did, they changed the world.

Because the Trail to Eagle doesn't really stop at Eagle.

For some, it continues on to the halls of power - to the White House and Congress, to the corner office and the executive suite. For others, it leads to the great outdoors - to the Appalachian Trail, the South Pole, and the summit of Mount Everest. Still, for others, it culminates in service in the classroom and the laboratory, in the Peace Corps and the local community.

NESA reminds Eagle Scouts that there is no end to the Scouting trail!

NESA helps Eagle Scouts:

  • Connect with other Eagle Scouts
  • Serve their community
  • Learn new things and continue to find adventure
  • Give back to Scouts who are currently on the Trail to Eagle
  • Follow the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives

NESA serves every Eagle Scout alumus. If you have an idea for how we can do more to serve Eagle Scouts, talk to us. We'd love to hear from you!

We also want to say THANK YOU to all the loyal and supportive NESA members who are currently making Scouting's programs and services for America's youth possible.
