Southern Region

Southern Region NESA Committee

The National Eagle Scout Association in the Southern Region, like the Boy Scouts of America, is organized into nine geographical areas:

Each area is led by an NESA area chair appointed by the area nominating committee. The NESA area chair reports to the area vice-president of leadership and performance. The area NESA committee consists of each council NESA chair within the area and other key volunteers as determined by the area chair.

The region and area leadership help execute the national program on a more local level, ensure all councils in the region have an active NESA committee, provide resources, and facilitate communication between the local councils and the national NESA committee.
