Why Join

NESA Has A Critical Mission

Why Join Header

Since its founding in 1972, NESA has supported the Boy Scouts of America by keeping Eagle Scouts involved and supportive of the BSA's mission:

to prepare young people
to make ethical and
moral choices over their lifetimes
by instilling in them the values
of the Scout Oath and Scout Law

NESA strives to build and expand the relationship with Eagle Scouts with the understanding that Eagle Scouts who continue their relationship with the BSA (and with one another) results in stronger Scouting.

NESA was formed to meet that goal as well as engage, inform, and assist its Eagle Scouts (you!).

If you think this mission is worth supporting, we invite you to join NESA.

Stay Connected. It is worth it! There is so much hapening in Scouting and we don't want you to miss out. Whether you are interested in learning about new Eagle Scouts, talks delivered by famous Eagles, our high adventure bases including our most recent base The Summit, no matter where you go NESA will keep you connected.

NESA members enjoy great benefits. Benefits are tailored to what Eagle Scouts want and need.

You matter!

The National Eagle Scout Association supports Eagle Scouts with an endowment to support Eagle Scouts beyond their time in Scouting. A significant portion of the NESA endowment funds are dedicated to fund scholarships that help enable Eagle Scouts to attend four-year accredited colleges, universities, and vocational/technical schools.

You can always feel good about your affiliation in the National Eagle Scout Association.
