Eagle Scout in space Entries

Mike Fossum once said that “it says something about who you are and the kind of journey you’ve been on” in regard to possessing an Eagle Scout Award. Well the now Distinguished Eagle Scout is embarking on another incredible journey.

For nearly six months, Fossum, who is an active Scouter in Houston, will be working at the International Space Station as part of Expedition 28. His flight, aboard Russia's Soyuz TMA-02M spacecraft, launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on June 7.

Follow Fossum’s incredible journey in space on nesa.org with periodic journal updates and photos from him.
